About Staralyn

Staralyn is a free horoscope and astrology site in six languages. Every day it publishes the horoscope of the twelve zodiac signs, along with the week's and the month's, and offers simple tools: compatibility between two signs, moon phases, tarot card of the day, Chinese zodiac and numerology.

The horoscope texts are written automatically every day by an artificial intelligence, taking the moon phase into account. They are meant for the pleasure of reading: they do not predict the future and are not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. The texts are proofread automatically to correct mistakes.

The calculations are not made up: the moon's phases come from published astronomical formulas (Jean Meeus), Chinese New Year is worked out from the new moons and the winter solstice, and the life path number follows the classic numerology method.
